bearing with one another and being gracious towards ourselves, if someone has some complaint towards someone, just as Christ was gracious toward you, thus also you (Colossians 3:13).
Bearing with one another involves being tolerant or forbearing. This attitude reflects graciousness toward other believers. Grace is an attitude by which we extend benefit without regard to merit. Therefore, whether or not we are fond of a particular saint, we are to grant them the same benefits we extend to those toward whom we are naturally partial when fellowshipping with the saints. And if we have a complaint against someone, let us adopt the same attitude that Christ displays toward us when we are being intolerable. For those who are being intolerable, be wise enough to recognize the tolerance of the saints around you and cease disrespectful conduct, for such behavior is not becoming of a saint.
