Learning to tame the tongue requires time and maturity, for it is with the tongue that the course of a man is set. How we speak to others should be with grace—not based on their merit, but on who we are in Christ. Our words, spoken with grace, should be palatable yet still convey the truth. This kind of speech addresses the need rather than reacting to the circumstance.
