Wherefore, the law became our child-trainer unto Christ, in order that out from faith we should be justified (Galatians 3:24).
The Mosaic Law was not given as a means of attaining righteousness before God. Its purpose was to demonstrate that, apart from justification through faith, we cannot be righteous before Him. Therefore, now that faith in Christ has come, the Law is no longer our child-trainer (Galatians 3:25).
Those in the Church mature through training their senses (perceptions) to know right from wrong, using the new mind they possess in Christ—one that is able to discern Spiritual things—to test for approval each situation and determine what is the desirous will of God.
