Galatians 3:26
Memory Verse
For you all are sons of God through faith in Jesus Christ, Galatians 3:26.
Those who are sons are in a position of maturity. One of the aspects of our salvation today is that God determined before He created the universe that all those who are part of the Church will have their bounds marked off to the placement of sons. “...having marked off our bounds to the placement of sons through Jesus Christ unto Himself...”, Ephesians chapter 1 verse 5.
One who is in the position of a son is not under governors or tutors; we are not under the Mosaic law, Galatians chapter 4 verses 1 and 2. Women, do not disrespect your position by calling yourselves daughters. Sonship has nothing to do with sex; it is a position of maturity. In Christ, there is no distinction in this position of maturity between Jew and Gentile, male and female, slave and free, for we are all one in Christ, Galatians chapter 3 verse 28. As sons, we have been given all things pertaining to life and godliness, 2nd Peter chapter 1 verses 3 and 4. As sons, we are able to train our senses to discern what is proper from what is wrong, Hebrews 5 verse 14. As sons, we have the ability to live out righteousness in every aspect of our lives because we are raised with Christ to walk in newness of life, Romans chapter 6 verse 4.
In salvation, the Holy Spirit washes, regenerates, and places us into the body of the Christ, Titus chapter 3 verse 5; 1st Corinthians chapter 12 verses 12 and 13. God’s seed is placed in us, giving us new birth in our spirit, 1st John chapter 3 verse 9. Since we are immersed into Christ, we are no longer under condemnation, Romans chapter 8 verse 1. Therefore, we have been crucified with Christ, so that the life we now live is a life of faith in the Son of God, for Christ now indwells us, Galatians chapter 2 verse 20.
Therefore, as sons, let us govern our lives by the desires from the Holy Spirit and live out the hope of a proper opinion of who we are in Christ, always expressing a proper opinion of who God is through our lifestyle because we are living out the righteousness we have in Christ.
