Does Heb.11:8 mean that he had faith, but that that faith was not the saving faith? Or Heb. 11:8 is not about Gen. 12:1-3? Thank you.
Abraham believed the promise, but was he saved at that time? Scripture says that his faith was imputed to him as righteousness later, when was already in the land.
He was not saved at that time. His salvation is a result of his faith in God’s promise concerning his seed (Genesis 15:5–6).
