And God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was, Genesis 1:9.
On the first day of the renovation of the earth, God permitted light once again to shine upon the face of the deep and divided the light from the darkness. He then separated the waters, establishing a firmament between them—the place where the birds fly—as the earth began to spin on its axis. Now, on the third day, God caused the dry land to emerge from the waters, forming one continent, and He gathered the waters into seas (Genesis 1:10).
Although for many decades scientists rejected the truth concerning the land upon the earth originating from one continent, today the evidence is overwhelming that this is indeed true. The divided continents are the result of judgment in the third dispensation, when God divided the languages and the land in order to disperse mankind across the earth (Genesis 10:25).
