Then the LORD God built from the side which He took from Adam for a woman, and He brought her to Adam (Genesis 2:22).
God first created Adam, then built Eve. While Adam was alone, the LORD showed him that no other being on earth was like him, nor able to be his companion (Genesis 2:19–20). This demonstration directly refutes evolution—which in reality is nothing more than an unproven theory. Of all the beasts of the field and birds of the air, not one was found that could be Adam’s companion.
When God created Adam, He made Eve possible (Genesis 1:27); therefore, Eve is not a new creation. She was built from Adam’s body, soul, and spirit. Since Adam is the only human created, he is the head of the human race, and all other humans are in his likeness and image (Genesis 5:3).
