For man’s wrath does not work out God’s righteousness, James 1:20
Wrath is an outward explosion of anger. God’s wrath is revealed today upon all ungodliness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, for He turns them over to the uncleanliness to work out all manner of corruption and fill to the full their judgment (Romans 1:18–32).
We may be wrathful, but let us not give place to the devil in our wrath nor work out sin through our explosion of anger (Ephesians 4:26–27). The unrighteous will face the wrath of God (Colossians 3:4). Therefore, let us put off wrath, inner burning anger—which is a work of the flesh—, wrong, blasphemy, filthy language, and stop lying by putting on the new man, who is renewed in the full experiential knowledge according to the image of the One who created him (Colossians 3:8–10). Then we will be ready to expose those who work out unrighteousness while not participating in it (Ephesians 5:11–13).
