Jude 8 Exposed: Dreamers Stain the Flesh & Reject Authority

Likewise, really also these dreamers, on the one hand, stain the flesh; on the other hand, they stand against lordships and blasphemy dignitaries (Jude 8).
In like manner to the angels who left their beginning state and Sodom and Gomorrah who went after strange flesh stained themselves, these false brethren who have crept into the Church stain the flesh, reject authorities, and falsely attribute things to dignitaries.
They are dreamers, men and women who claim to have dreams from the LORD. Through these dreams they stain the flesh. Bitterness will cause a person to stain themselves, as Esau, who was a fornicator and profane person, sold his birthright for a morsel of food (Hebrews 12:15–16). Just as Esau perceived no value in the promise from God, these men and women follow their dreams while rejecting what God says. They justify violating God’s Word and standards based upon their dreams and how they feel about what God wants. To those who are stained, nothing is clean (Titus 1:15). They profess to know God while denying Him. They are involved in detestable acts, while teaching against them. They are unpersuaded ones and are disqualified from every good work (Titus 1:16).
These men and women take predominant positions in assemblies, claiming to be from God and follow God, setting themselves up as lords, CEOs, and rejecting lordship over them. They walk according to the unclean strong desires for their flesh, interested in money, prestige, and servitude from their followers (2 Peter 2:10).
God is not giving men dreams today. He does not speak in a quiet voice. Nor does He give visions or perceived spiritual insight apart from Scripture. These are all methods of old, before the resurrection of Christ and our household of grace. Today, a righteous man lives out from faith, not based upon sight (Romans 1:17). The Christian possesses all things pertaining to life and godliness; he needs no new revelation through dreams, visions, or self-imposed interpretations of Scripture (2 Peter 1:3–4). False teachers use supposed dreams and the disregard of authorities to cause the saints to wander from the truth.
