Revelation 1:7| Christ's Return in Clouds: Every Eye Sees Him!

Behold, he comes with the clouds and every eye will discern Him, even the ones who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. Yes! Amen! (Revelation 1:7).
When Christ returns to earth at the end of the Tribulation Period for the second time, He is coming to claim what is rightfully His (Psalm 2:8). In that return, clouds of myriads of saints will come with Him (Jude 14). These are the Church saints, now resurrected and forever with the Lord, who were snatched from the earth just over seven years before this event occurs (1 Thessalonians 4:17).
The tribes of the earth refer to the twelve tribes of Israel. At the time of Christ’s second coming, Israel will be in the wilderness awaiting the arrival of the Messiah (Revelation 12:14). During her time in the wilderness, the unbelievers will be purged from the nation (Ezekiel 20:35-38). When they see Him, the realization of what they have done will be made clear to them. They are the ones who pierced their Messiah two thousand years ago (Matthew 24:30). As this becomes clear, the tribes of the earth will mourn because of what they have done and become zealous for their God (Zechariah 12:10).
