Romans 1:26–27
Memory Verse
Because of this, God handed them over into dishonorable passions, for even the females among them exchanged the natural use unto that which is against the nature. Likewise, indeed, also the males sent away the natural use of the female, caused to be kindled in their longing unto others of the same kind, males among males working out for themselves the disgraceful and receiving the recompense that is necessary concerning their wandering among themselves, Romans 1:26–27.
Those who exchange the proper opinion of the one true God make Him like corruptible humans. They even render religious service to creation. Such people are under wrath. They are given over to strong desires, dishonoring their own bodies. This corruption of mind and body affects both males and females who follow after false gods.
In their dishonorable passions, they exchange the natural use of male and female. They burn within themselves for those of the same kind. This conduct is disgraceful and brings corruption in the flesh. God is not showing them mercy, for they have rejected Him. Therefore, He has turned them over to strong desires, allowing them to fill up to the full the judgment coming upon them because of their works.
