Never debate with anyone when speaking about spiritual matters. Debate will serve no purpose. Persuasion and reasoning according to the Scriptures and through the use of the Scriptures is permissible.. but debate is a form of arguing and God wants none of that. Even if one wins in a debate, it does not mean that the losing side or party is going to be spiritually influenced. If someone you are speaking to wants to argue, walk away. End of story.

Excellent in every way. Great content, graphics and speaker. Isn't it interesting to note that not even Jesus debated with anyone. He simply presented the truth and let it fall where it may.

It is interesting to note that Bible teaching is to be presented as the truth and the only truth regarding spiritual matters. It sounds congenial to let someone else present their side of the story first and then maybe appear to be considering it as plausible, but that is humanistic and totally unnecessary. We do not say well we will listen to your side if you will listen to our side. No, there's no give and take when it comes to spiritual truth. No comparing of notes with unbelievers or false doctrine. We present the truth and trust the Holy Spirit to open the eyes and ears of the listeners. We do not attempt to employ any rhetorical or logical or argumentative devices to prove a point. We present the truth - the Holy Spirit takes it from there. Isn't that what all of the New testament teachers did? Of course. Truth is never a bargaining chip. It stands alone on its own.
